SOPHIE - the sweet mama pittie

Sophie is a sweetheart of a dog -- she is 4 years old and was rescued from the shelter after being found as a stray.  She loves walks and attention.

She weighs only 49 lbs. Sophie gives kisses like only a pittie can! She is affectionate and great tempered. She does not react to other dogs barking at her and she walks great on a leash. She also thinks she is a lap dog. She definitely is a lover.

She is medium sized, up to date on her shots, spayed, and waiting for the perfect home...Sophie is currently in a foster home.

Molly -ADOPTED!

Molly has been adopted into a wonderful and loving home!

MOLLY's STORY: Molly is a little 15.6# poodle mix who was found as a stray - filthy and matted - with dreadlocks, really, but in good health and spirits. Molly is less than a year old and super sweet and adorable. She was bathed, groomed, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

SADIE - ADOPTED !

SADIE has been adopted -- she is a beloved member of my family now.

SADIE' STORY: Sadie is an 8 year old, 4# maltese that i spotted at the west la shelter about 3 weeks ago...she was "owner surrendered"....

I got Sadie and she was spayed and noted to have infected teeth she completed two rounds of antibiotics for her teeth and kennel cough.

She has surgery and several teeth had to be pulled, but her heart murmur is gone.
Sadie is ultra sweet and is happy and gets along great with my 2 westies and my cat.

...she is a total snuggle bun...she sleeps next to my pillow, but loves to crawl up on me as soon as i wake up.

ANNIE - ADOPTED!!

SACRAMENTO INDEPENDENT ANIMAL RESCUERS ARE HER HERO (and mine)

Annie had her medical issues dealt with and now is in a wonderful and loving permanent home!

SACRAMENTO INDEPENDENT ANIMAL RESCUERS (SIAR) took Annie into their rescue organization!! They were so kind and generous and have done so many wonderful rescues for animals in need and with medical problems. I worked with Carrie Moore of SIAR who was so wonderful!

Above is a picture of what i saw as i drove away from Robin's house - where i left Annie (reluctantly, i admit) to continue her journey to Sacramento....is it any wonder i cried when i saw this?

MANY MANY THANKS TO ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO HELPED ANNIE!!!
